However i have a few different settings as you have and while I understand it isn't your preference, it might be worth trying to see if it gets you around the issue. So I just tried it here myself with 9.04 desktop i386 release and it works for me. I sure would appreciate any help you might have. I tried another tack, using VMware > Virtual Machine > Send Key. Still, nothing seems to be sent to ubuntu.
